Like most forms of aerobic or cardio exercise, dancing has many health benefits, including weight loss. Dance is a language, we tell in our movements, it is sensual, sexy and mental therapy. Dance can generate the same results as in the Gym such as improved cardiovascular function, lipid metabolism, endurance, and body composition. I cannot tell you how easy it is for dancers to transition their skills from dance class to so many other fitness arenas. Besides burning a good number of calories, dancing can also increase your muscle strength

Some of the health benefits of regular cardio exercise, such as dancing, include:

increased stamina

improved mobility and flexibility

a better sense of balance

improved blood flow

a stronger immune system

better sleep

reduced stress

reduced risk for certain chronic conditions, such as diabetes and heart disease

Dancing also has mental health benefits. Aerobic exercise may help improve your mood and reduce your risk of depression. Dancing can with your  self-confidence develops as young people overcome challenges to master new goals,

Zumba Class. 

The high-energy classes are set to upbeat music and feature choreographed dance numbers that you might see in a nightclub. Working up a sweat in the 60-minute classes burns an average of 369 calories. You don’t need to be a great dancer to feel welcome in a Zumba class. 

Hip Hop Class.

Hip hop dancing is a high-intensity, high-impact form of dancing. It includes everything from break dancing to modern dance-like moves. Some gyms may offer hip hop dance classes, but there are also many online videos available to help you become familiar with hip hop choreography. A lot of hip hop dance involves repetitive motion, much of which is high-impact. These moves can lead to injuries if they’re done incorrectly or if you don’t give yourself time to rest in between dance sessions.

Ballet.

Ballet is one-stop fitness. Not only does it hit all the right fitness markers (strength, tone, flexibility, balance, agility, coordination, and endurance), but it also draws from a concept of beauty from both the movements and the music. When you allow yourself to be touched, moved, and inspired as you engage your body, the joy itself can be as transformative as the exercise!

Dancing is a whole-body workout that's actually fun. We dance for physical fitness. We dance for mental clarity. We dance for emotional stability, It's good for your heart, it makes you stronger, and it can help with balance and coordination. A 30-minute dance class burns between 130 and 250 calories, about the same as jogging.
